2022 Silver is Gold Festival – sparking connection across Canberra
COTA ACT are excited to announce that 2022 will see a reimagining of our events space in the Canberra community. Rather than a Seniors Week, we’re planning a wonderfully big and full ‘Silver is Gold’ festival which will stretch across the year – because how can we fit our big big plans into one tiny week?
Centre stage will be two fabulous expos running in May and September, filling two huge pavilions at EPIC with goodies that’ll make every senior citizen feel like a kid in a candy shop. In and around those events will be competitions, concerts, giveaways and many more things that’ll appeal to the golden oldies of our great city. Because we’re all about sparking connection this year, getting out, loving life and celebrating the age that we are and the skin that we’re in.
So join us this year as we paint the town silver and celebrate ageing in a positive and poignant way. And let’s make 2022 the year of sparking connection right across Canberra.
