Representing the interests of older Canberrans
COTA ACT works with older Canberrans to shape a more just and equitable community in which older people participate and contribute to their fullest capacity.
Older people should have access to the support they need to live rich, dignified and happy lives.
How we do it

We also collaborate with the University of the Third Age (U3A) to present a series of interesting forums from June to November each year.
The COTA ACT Policy Council is a representative group of older people with an active interest in seniors' issues and a commitment to ensuring that seniors have a strong voice in the community.
The Policy Council identifies issues and priorities (local, state and national) that COTA should focus on, and helps determine COTA policies based on members' input, research and consultation.
The COTA ACT Housing Advisor assists older people to access appropriate and affordable housing and care. Make an indvidual appointment or book a group information session with our Housing Advisor.
